Boys Soccer Takes District Runner-Up Honors

The Boys Soccer team, coached by Mark Pillow, received district tournament runner-up honors over the weekend. The team moves on to regional play against defending state champs, Houston High, next.

Boys Soccer Advances to 10-2 with Win Over Central

With a come-from-behind win over Central yesterday, Overton Wolverine Soccer improved their record to 10-2 yesterday. “With determination and perseverance, our boys were able to defeat an able and aggressive opponent.” stated Coach Mark Pillow. Following two more regular-season games, the boys will compete in the district tournament in early May.

Boy’s Basketball Team Signs Three to College

Paris London, Josh McKenzie, and Fred Wesson, graduating seniors of OHS and leaders of the 2015-2016 Wolverine basketball program, signed letters-of-intent with their respective college choices this week. We look forward to seeing these young men advance their future on the court and in the classroom.

Lady Wolverine Basketball Takes District, Runner-Up at Regionals

The Lady Wolverine Basketball team, led by head coach Lynn Smith, drove deep into postseason this year by winning the 16AAA district championship and claiming runner-up honors at the region 8 tournament. Sadly, the Lady Wolverines fell to Dyer County High in sectional play.
