Overton Basketball Rebuilds Under New Coaching Staff

Boys’ Coach Eric Brent and Girls’ Coach Christa Cooley have led rebuilding efforts as first-year heads of the Overton High Basketball Program. Striving to compete in an ultra-competitive environment, both teams participated in Briarcrest High School’s Alumni Christmas Tournament to hone the skills of their student-athletes.

With a come-from-behind win over Central yesterday, Overton Wolverine Soccer improved their record to 10-2 yesterday. “With determination and perseverance, our boys were able to defeat an able and aggressive opponent.” stated Coach Mark Pillow. Following two more regular-season games, the boys will compete in the district tournament in early May.
